Hi,

..so you would like to be a model. It can be a very rewarding career, especially for the chosen few that make it to the SUPER model arena. But be very aware, it's not easy, not everybody will make it, and it can be really hard work. There are a few golden rules you should follow: You do need to decide on the type of modelling you want to do. If you have a fab figure, and are very pretty you could go for the glamour side of the business. You also have to be very outgoing and certainly not shy. But consider, companies, magazines and agencies need all sorts of models for all sorts of things. Example....you may have great hands.....nail varnish adverts could pay well, great eyes......makeup ads, sexy legs could lead you to clothes catalogs........think long and hard....and if you are not sure what's your best features, talk to you photographer!!

Now the IMPORTANT bit: Once you manage to get onto an agencies books, you should not have to pay for a portfolio, at least not great fortunes, but it is wise to have some photos taken before you start to shop around. Choose your photographer carefully.....very carefully. A new model should not have to pay for the photo shoot in my opinion Should receive free advice as to whether they have a chance to succeed at being a model. Should receive honest opinion as to what sort of career would be best followed. Should receive the contact sheets free of charge (contact sheets are mini photos, from which you choose the photos you want printed) You should try to use a photographer that you either know or has been recommended by someone you know Never go alone to a photo-shoot, unless you really know the photographer. Always tell someone where you are going, when you will be back and who you are seeing.

BE SAFE : IT'S A ROTTEN WORLD OUT THERE !!!

This is Emma, a professional model wanting shots to add to her web-site which by the way is: www.emma-x.co.uk She decided on Global Vision, because she had been on a studio shoot before when we were one of the photographers, and liked our work: She arrived at our studios with a male friend, sat down and discussed what she wanted, and we planned the shoot, types of photos she wanted and the whole thing took around two hours.

Her friend Mike also wanted some photos taken and we shot some joint images as below
